Thank you for your interest in writing with The Pretty & Wise Collective. Be sure to carefully look over all the details of submitting an article to be considered for our blog for the best chance of being featured. Once your article is submitted, you will hear back from a team member within 2 weeks.
What We Look For in Every Article...
Pretty & Wise is committed to providing spiritually challenge and encouraging articles and content for our readers.
+ We are looking for pieces that convey an encouraging and inspiring message with a personal tone - words that challenge women to boldly pursue their God-given calling in every sphere of life.
+ We seek strongly written pieces that reflect the message of Pretty & Wise in heart and tone. Submissions should demonstrate skilled writing, a vulnerability gained by personal experience, and an overall friendly tone of coming alongside other women in order to encourage and challenge them in their faith.
General Guidelines
+ Submissions must be 2,000 words or less.
+ Submissions should be single spaced with a double space between paragraphs and subheadings. Please do not indent paragraphs.
+ Submissions should be left-justified, including subheadings.
+ All published work will be credited and linked (when applicable) to the author's website and social media platforms.
+ Submissions are volunteer only. We do not financially compensate our writers.
+ Submissions must be sent in Google Doc format.
+ Must include a hi-res headshot along with a one paragraph bio.
+ All published content must be exclusive to Pretty & Wise.
+ If selected for our blog, we encourage you to post a brief excerpt on your blog and/or social media accounts linking to the full post on Pretty & Wise.
+ We reserve the right to make grammatical edits and consult you about content edits as deemed necessary.
The Pretty & Wise Woman
The Pretty & Wise woman is between ages 25-54. She has children, attends church regularly, and is looking to deepen her relationship with Jesus. She is interested in articles and content that bring insight, encouragement, and motivation as well as practical wisdom for her everyday life as she navigates her calling in every sphere - home, marketplace, and ministry.
She is looking to learn from women who find joy in relationship with Jesus. She is looking for guidance and support in heart-focused issues such as parenting, marriage, spiritual growth, scriptural understanding, and relationships.
